Errol Alcott is a renowned Physiotherapist throughout Australia and many countries around the world. He has accumulated 30 years experience and expertise in the Physiotherapy and Fitness Industries.

Australian Cricket TeamFrom 1984 to 2006  Errol was Physiotherapist in charge of the Australian Cricket Team. For the majority of the time he was responsible for the well-being and for the physical performance of hundreds of Australia’s elite cricketers including implementing injury prevention strategies, fitness programs and complete rehabilitation management and treatments with return to sport strategies.

In the 1990’s and the first half of the 2000’s the successful rehabilitations from serious injuries of Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Steve Waugh, who called him “the best in the business”, and Jason Gillespie all had much to do with Errol’s expertise. –  ESPN Cricinfo

During Errol’s time with Cricket Australia, Australia played 243 Test matches with a success rate of 51.44% – the most successful team during this period. Australia participated in 516 One Day Internationals during the same period with the best success rate of all international teams of 64.73% – (Statistics courtesy of Ross Dundas)

From 2006 to 2012  Errol was Director of Athletic Performance for South Sydney Rugby League Football Club – the Rabbitohs. He was an integral part in the rebuild of the Rabbitohs from 2006/07 overseeing the Medical and Rehabilitation, and Strength and Conditioning Departments.

Since 2004  Errol has been engaged for Professional Services on many Hollywood Productions. These services provided were for exercise programming, injury prevention and treatment for musculoskeletal ailments as they arose. Although contracted to look after the lead actor his expertise was also used for consultation and treatment for many of the crew on the Production including Directors and Producers of the Production.

Professional Career till 1984  After completing his studies in Applied Science in Physiotherapy at Cumberland College in Lidcombe Campus Sydney NSW, Errol then worked his registration year at St George Hospital Kogarah Sydney NSW. It was during this time he begun on field trainer duties assessing acute injuries sustained by NRL St George Rugby League players reporting to legendary coach Harry Bath.

Errol continued his time at St George Hospital for a further year treating St George NRL Players as well as being involved with South Sydney Rabbitohs. Over the next few years Errol set up two private clinics in the Southern Suburbs of Sydney. During this time he was heavily involved in numerous sports and actively involved in lecturing and promoting Sports Injury Prevention Protocols and athletic testing whilst managing clinical duties and treating.
